Yesterday, we went over to Jade's for her 5th birthday party and both the boys had a great time running around with all the other kiddos....especially Evan!! He participated in his 1st game of musical chairs and freeze. We were sure that he was going to be one of the first ones out and get upset, but he made it through 3 rounds and sat down when he was out without one whimper - he just loved watching the other kids! And the game of freeze....where they play a song and then you have to freeze when the music stops...was hilarious to watch. He didn't quite grasp the concept of "freeze", he would stop but then turn and look at me to for approval that he was doing it correctly and then throw his little hands up into this "stop" motion....it was precious! Since he was little and was never going to make it to the end, they let him keep participating until there were only 3 bigger kids left - he loved it (check out the video below of E in action)! He also had quite the admirer at the party, Maya was always there to help him with each game and to be sure he was well taken care of! It was a fun afternoon!
